PR425 Transparent Rain Cover

The new Deca Transparent Rain Cover is uniquely designed to shield full-size broadcast cameras like the Sony PDW-700 and Panasonic AJ-HPX2700 from extreme and adverse weather. Petrol’s ingenious one-piece design makes the cover extremely easy to install while shooting. Constructed of transparent polyurethane (TPU) for maximum visibility and handsome black waterproof nylon, it offers quick and easy access to all camera features. The Deca is roomy enough to enable work with the camera’s flip-out LCD screen fully open. Attaching the viewfinder protector takes just seconds, thanks to a special waterproof zipper. The rigid front hood section is equipped with a hot shoe connector that anchors and stabilizes the cover on camera. A front section of lightweight, waterproof polypropylene board offers a clear view of the camera’s tally light. On top of the hood, a 6” ABS track allows for the addition of an on-camera light and/or wireless receiver. Additional features include a tapered auxiliary sleeve that shields the camera’s external microphone.
